What is my item of jewellery made of?

All of our handmade jewellery is made of solid 925 Silver, 9ct Rose or 9ct Yellow Gold. All of our metal is from Birmingham's historic jewellery quarter which we are a stones throw from. Our bangles are solid, never hollow or made from tube, so they are a lovely weight and made to last a life time !

What is the stamped mark on my item of jewellery?

We stamp the majority of our jewellery with johns makers mark. The 'GT' armours mark was originally developed to distinguish different pieces of armour he had either restored or produced over the years. This mark is still prominent on his work today and represents the many skills and pride that has gone into developing a range of jewellery we are proud of.

We endeavour to assay all to our jewellery items, we use the Birmingham assay office to stamp any items which are over 7.78g weight in silver. As many of our bangles and rings are made to size in our workshop within a day or two of you placing your order it is not always possible to have them assay marked.

How long will my order take to make?

Your order will be made in our workshop at Hatton, Warwickshire within 1-2 days Monday to Friday. We handcraft all of the jewellery by hand in our Family run workshop and endeavour to send your items to you within a couple of days.

How is my item sent ? What is the cost?

Orders placed over the value of £100 receive FREE shipping if mainland UK! Our Standard shipping cost under £100 is £3.50 for DPD next day delivery for Mainland UK. Shipping outside of Mainland UK is £5.00. Next day delivery will be from your dispatch email (excluding weekends). If you need an item for a specific date please do get in touch prior to your order to ensure we can deliver on time. 

Is my item packaged in a box?

Yes! All items are sent in a JGT Jewellery box, ready to give as a gift. They are perfect to store your jewellery in when you are not wearing it. Unfortunately we do not offer a gift wrapping service at the moment. 

Does my pendant come with a chain?

All of our pendants come with an 18" chain as standard. If you require an additional chain these can be purchased separately under the chain section.

How do I work out my finger size or my bangle size?

I can’t get a bangle size as the item is a gift

No problem. If you order a bangle size that doesn't fit we offer exchange or replacement for an alternative size.

Can I exchange my item?

Every item is exchangeable, we will work with you to get the correct fit and feel of all of your jewellery. The brilliant thing about us making every piece of jewellery is that we can alter our jewellery to fit any size wrist/finger.

Can I return my item?

We endeavour to make jewellery that you and your loved ones will treasure, but if for any reason you want to return one of our items please return to us at:

The return postage and cost is your responsibility, please keep your proof of postage and always put a note in with your returned parcel so we can match it to your order.

How do I clean my jewellery?

The best way to clean silver is with a soft cloth. Silver naturally oxidises and can react to peoples PH levels in their skin, so be aware when spraying perfume and putting lotion on when wearing it. To keep it looking at its best keep it in a clean place when not wearing it, out of direct sunlight. You can purchase Polishing Cloths online with us also.
