To commemorate forty years of John Garland-Taylor Jewellery, John has created 40 unique solid silver pendants, each named Ruby, a special piece celebrating four decades of craftsmanship, creativity and dedication to his art.
The pendant’s four interlocking elements are a tribute to the craft John has spent a lifetime perfecting. Each element represents a decade of the journey, coming together to celebrate not only this remarkable milestone, but also the hands, skill and passion behind it. Ruby is a genuine piece of John Garland-Taylor history, designed to honour the legacy he has built over forty years.
Every pendant takes John over an hour of meticulous handwork, shaped and finished using the traditional hammering techniques he has practised since he was just 18 years old. No two are identical; every curve and polished surface carries its own character, making each Ruby a unique expression of John's individual craftsmanship.
Handmade in solid 925 sterling silver by John himself, Ruby celebrates forty years at the hammer, a meaningful piece of jewellery to treasure for the next forty.

All of our pendants come with an 18" chain as standard. If you would like an additional chain these can be purchased separately here.
We aim to dispatch your items within 1 business day and all UK orders are sent using DPD Next Day Delivery or Royal Mail Special Delivery.
- UK Delivery will be one business day from your dispatch email. UK shipping is free on orders over £159 and charged at £6 for all other orders.
- International Delivery can be up to 17 days with customs fees applicable in the receiving country. International shipping is charged at £15.
We do carry a small amount of stock of all our products excluding Gold and Bespoke orders. If your order is for a specific date please do get in touch.
