Our workshop sits in Warwickshire and every single piece of John Garland-Taylor jewellery is made here by our own team. Nothing is outsourced and nothing is made overseas.
The workshop is led by John, our founder, originally trained as a smith and spent years restoring historical armour for institutions including Warwick Castle and the National Trust. That background gave him an exacting relationship with metal that has shaped the way our entire team approaches the craft.
David, John's son, naturally grew up around the workshop. He joined the business full time roughly a decade ago, around the point JGT became a true family business. He produces a significant proportion of the jewellery that leaves our workshop today.
Ria and Katie studied jewellery design at Birmingham School of Jewellery and has been creating jewellery since 1995. If you own a Bramble piece in silver or gold, Ria would have made it by hand herself.
