Bangle Size Guide

Our bangles can be ordered in three size options, SMALL, MEDIUM and LARGE. We can make bespoke sizes where necessary.

To find your bangle size:

Measure around the widest part of your hand. Ensure you wrap around your thumb knuckle, squeeze your hand in as if you were putting a bangle on and pull the tape tight. You want your bangle to fit snug over your hand and not be too large on the wrist. This measurement will give you an indication of the circumference size bangle that should fit.

Delivery

For UK orders over £100.00 delivery is FREE.

We aim to despatch your items within 1-2 days Monday-Friday.

All UK orders are sent using DPD Next Day Delivery or Royal Mail Special Delivery.

UK Delivery will be the following working day from your despatch email.

International Delivery can be up to 17 days with customs fees applicable in the receiving country.

We do carry a small amount of stock of all our products excluding Gold and Bespoke orders.

If your order is for a specific date please do get in touch.

Returns

Of course if for any reason you want to return an item, you can do so within 90 days. Excluding bespoke orders which are non-refundable.

Because we make every piece of jewellery, we can alter pieces to fit any size wrist or finger. We'll work with you to get your jewellery perfected, so do get in touch if you have any queries on sizing.

Please return items back to us unused and in the original boxes.

What if the fit's not right?

We endeavour to make jewellery that you and your loved ones will treasure.

Because we make every piece of jewellery, we can alter pieces to fit any size wrist or finger. We'll work with you to get your jewellery perfected, so do get in touch if you have any queries.

We offer free resizing. All you need to do is cover the cost to return the item to us, we will then resize and repost the item back to you.

The return postage and cost is your responsibility, please keep your proof of postage and put a note in with your returned parcel so we can match it to your order.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we can ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

Please note you may be liable for taxes in the receiving country also.

How long will it take to get my item?

We aim to desptach all items within 1-2 days Monday-Friday. We carry a small amount of stock so at busier times these may be extended. Bespoke and Gold Orders will take approx 3-4 weeks for delivery.

How do I look after my jewellery?

Silver jewellery is prone to tarnish over time, but there are lots of factors that can contribute to excessive tarnishing.

To keep your jewellery looking its best we recommend:

Always remove your jewellery when swimming, showering or using creams and sanitisers.
Put your jewellery on last, after applying hairspray and perfume.
Keep your jewellery out of direct sunlight and stored in a jewellery box.

If you find your jewellery looking less than shiny, a Town Talk Polishing Cloth is the next step. The Original Silver cloth has been around since 1895 keeping silver sparkling. The cloth is impregnated with special anti-tarnish agents that not only clean your jewellery but also leave a long lasting shine.

You can purchase Polishing Cloths directly from us, you'll be able to add it during checkout.

Does it come in a gift box?

Yes! All of our jewellery comes in a JGT box, ready to give as a gift. The boxes are perfect to store your jewellery in when you're not wearing it.

Unfortunately we do not offer a gift wrapping service at the moment.

What's the embossed mark on my jewellery?

This is the GT Makers Mark. John Garland-Taylor originally worked as a highly-skilled smith and armour restorer. The mark was developed to distinguish different pieces of armour John restored and produced over the years.

Just stunning

I recently bought the ribbon bangle from John Garland-Taylor, my partner having previously bought me the earrings and necklace in the same set for birthday and Christmas gifts. The quality of all three are impeccable and the design absolutely stunning. I've had countless compliments on the earrings alone. Sadly, due to my smaller than typical wrists, the smallest size bracelet offered online was still too big for me. I reached out to JGT and they said they could resize the bracelet for me, sending me a link with a video of how to take the measurements. I posted the bracelet back on the Monday with the request for the resize - I had it back on the Friday. The service was friendly, helpful and far quicker than I could have hoped for. Just exceptional from start to finish. Every item we've ordered from JGT has been flawless - the three pieces I now proudly own and a necklace each bought for my mum and my nan who both also loved them. Another beautiful piece

I bought the Ribbon bangle to go with my other Ribbon pieces. I ordered it online and as usual, it arrived quickly and beautifully packaged. However, in my excitement to order it, the size I ordered was too small. I emailed JGT to ask if I could pop in to change it. Abi replied straight away to confirm it was no problem. I went into the shop/workshop a few days later and came out with a perfectly fitting Ribbon bangle. The quality of the jewellery is excellent as is the customer service.
