At John Garland-Taylor Jewellery we pride ourselves on creating timeless designs that are handmade by our small family run team, in the heart of Warwickshire.

How do I clean my jewellery?

Silver jewellery is prone to tarnish over time, but there are lots of factors that can contribute to excessive tarnishing.

To keep your jewellery looking its best we recommend:

Always remove your jewellery when swimming, showering or using creams and sanitisers.
Put your jewellery on last, after applying hairspray and perfume.
Keep your jewellery out of direct sunlight and stored in a jewellery box.

If you find your jewellery looking less than shiny, a Town Talk Polishing Cloth is the next step. The Original Silver cloth has been around since 1895 keeping silver sparkling. The cloth is impregnated with special anti-tarnish agents that not only clean your jewellery but also leave a long lasting shine.

You can purchase Polishing Cloths directly from us, you'll be able to add it during checkout.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we can ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout.

What's the embossed mark on my jewellery?

This is the GT Makers Mark. John Garland-Taylor originally worked as a highly-skilled smith and armour restorer. The mark was developed to distinguish different pieces of armour John restored and produced over the years.

Lucy Bangle

I ordered two different thicknesses of this bangle as unsure which one would suit me best. I preferred the 4mm version but it was too big. I returned both, one for a refund and one for an exchange. Communication was great, as was advice about sizing The smaller size fits perfectly and I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day! Outstanding personal service and highly recommend.

I treated myself to this beautiful bracelet a few months ago & I feel it helped to save my life.

I treated myself to this beautiful bracelet a few months ago & I really loved it & wore it every day! Sadly 3 weeks ago I was wearing it when I collapsed & was rushed into hospital,I basically died & was brought back from the brink & am so incredibly lucky to be alive today. My beautiful Rose gold Jess infinity banglehad to be cut off of me in the operating theatre as they needed to put wires etc in just there! They gave it back to me & I am keeping it as a reminder of how lucky I am,but it is in a sad state now...I feel it kept me safe somehow. I cannot afford to replace it & don`t know if it can be mended or not. I love all of your wonderful products & have bought quite a few. Anyway just thought I would let you know & say how fabulous your Jewellery is!
